The KidsUp! Playground at Battle Point Park is a beloved Island treasure that celebrates
our cultural history and vibrant arts community. As children play, they are surrounded by artistic representations of
Island life and history: farming, boats, the Port Blakely saw mill, wildlife, music, and more….
The Board of Directors regrets to announce that the Parent Child Center closed on May 28th.
Despite extraordinary support from our community, we are unable to keep our doors open during this difficult financial
time. The need for a Parent Child Center does not go away when our doors close. We are therefore launching a feasibility
study and welcome participants from the community...
